PlayStation 4 Receives Price Drop in Australia

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced a price drop for the 500GB PlayStation 4 model in Australia.

Originally priced at $549.95AUD, the 500GB PlayStation 4 will be receiving a $70 recommended retail price drop, making the new recommended retail price $479.95AUD; which doesn’t include any other discounts that retailers may include on the system.

“We are delighted to deliver the PS4 system at its best-ever value just in time for the holiday season, making it more accessible to a broader audience in Europe,” said Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and CEO, Jim Ryan.

PlayStation 4 owners recently enjoyed the release of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, which Analog Addiction called “a brilliant purchase for anyone who hasn’t experienced the franchise before, or a veteran wanting to re-experience the series in its best form possible.”
