New ‘Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires’ Details – Edit Mode, Custom Scenarios

Koei Tecmo Europe has released new details on the Custom Scenario and Edit Modes that will be included in Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires, alongside some new screenshots straight from the battlefield.

In Edit Mode players will be able to create their own original character to use in Empire Mode, with the ability to edit allied soldiers, warhorses, banners and more to truly create your own unique character. Players will also be able to edit maps that are used within scenarios, allowing creation of brand new scenarios.

Custom Scenario will allow players to control what happens across the Chinese landscape, with the ability to set locations and the rulers of each kingdom, while also changing the officers within those kingdoms. Players will also be given the ability their own title and introduction for these scenarios.

Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires contains 83 unique characters that can be selected, or utilising the new Edit Mode, create their own original character to take part in battles on more than 35 battlefields.

Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 26 in Australia and New Zealand.
