Need for Speed: Most Wanted Receives Three DLC Packs

Last year Need for Speed: Most Wanted to high critical praise, we at Analog Addiction gave it 9/10 telling you to “Pick up this game, you won’t regret it.” Well there is no time like the present, as EA and developer Criterion have released three downloadable content packs available today.

The three content packs available range from offering new areas, legendary Need for Speed cars and famous movie vehicles. The content packs available are called Terminal Velocity, Movie Legends and Need for Speed Heroes.

  1. Terminal Velocity: Introducing players to Hughes International Airport, an expansive new location in Fairhaven City. Including five brand new cars, including Porsche 918 Spyder 2013, BMW 1 Series M Coupe 2012, Audi RS3 2012, Ford Fiesta ST 2012 and Alfa Romeo Mito QV 2012.These handpicked cars have been chosen for their light weight feel and tight controls to take advantage of the Jump Nitrous mod. Offering players 136 new multiplayer milestones, 10 new multiplayer speedlists, 40 new billboards and 8 new achievements and more. Terminal Velocity is packed with content. It will be available for 1200 Microsoft Points.

  1. Movie Legends: Offering players five of the most iconic cars that have graced the silver screen. The five cars available include the luxurious Aston Martin DBS 2008 and Aston Martin DB5, the Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am Special Edition 1977, the powerful Dodge Charger R/T 1970 and lastly, for the racer who wants to disappear in a blink of an eye, the Shelby GT 500 1967. The content pack also includes 8 new single player sprint events, 130 new multiplayer milestones, 50 new license plates and more. It will be available for 800 Microsoft Points.

  1. Need for Speed Heroes: Brings back some famous Need for Speed vehicles, from the likes of Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit, Underground, Underground 2, Undercover and the original Most Wanted. These vehicles include the Lamborghini Diablo SV, Nissan Skyline GTR (R34), Nissan 350Z, Porsche 911 GT2 and BMW M3 GTR. The pack also offers 8 new high intensity Races and Speed Runs, 25 new liveries, 130 new multiplayer milestones and more. This pack is also available for 800 Microsoft Points.

Players are also able to purchase the Deluxe DLC Bundle, which includes all the content from all three DLC packs. It will be available for 2000 Microsoft Points. Remember these are all available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with the content available on Origin March 14.
