Limited Edition ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops III’ PlayStation 4 Announced

The latest limited edition PlayStation 4 console has been revealed, themed after the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

The limited edition Call of Duty: Black Ops III PlayStation 4 console features an orange and black design, similar to the Call of Duty: Black Ops III logo. The console itself is Jet Black, with coloured power and eject buttons, as well as three emblems on the front representing a game mode in the game. The SOG Skull represents the campaign, the Winslow Accord logo is from a faction in the game, and “the mark” represents the zombies mode.

The DualShock 4 controller is also themed after Call of Duty: Black Ops III, featuring a grey and orange colour scheme, with the ‘III’ logo on the right grip. The PlayStation 4 console will also feature 1TB of hard drive space, and will also be available to purchase in bundle form with a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

“Last month’s beta on PS4 was a phenomenal success. We want to thank the amazing PlayStation Nation for its feedback, for its participation, and for making Black Ops III the largest beta in PS4 history,” said Activision’s GM of Call of Duty, Rob Kostich. “Black Ops III is without a doubt the most ambitious game that Call of Duty has ever created – Treyarch is pushing the boundaries across each and every mode of play on PS4. From day one, it has been designed to push the franchise to new heights on next generation hardware.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops III will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on November 6, alongside the newly announced console. For more information on pricing and availability, check out the official announce here.
