‘LEGO Friends’ Announced For Nintendo 3DS & DS
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced LEGO Friends, which is currently being developed for Nintendo 3DS and DS consoles.
LEGO Friends will offer creative gameplay based on the popular LEGO Friends collection of building sets, which launched in 2012 and will introduce more adventures this year.
“We are very proud to welcome even more girls into the world of LEGO videogames with a title based on the best-selling LEGO Friends line,” stated Tom Stone, Managing Director at TT Games. “LEGO Friends allows players to build personal fun adventure while expressing their individual style and personality along the way.”
Players will be introduced to Heartlake City, offering complete freedom to express their style, explore area and activities. These activities range from dancing, soccer practice or visiting stores to purchase items to customize their character.
Building friendships will be a key focus of LEGO Friends, as you meet new friend and join them on special adventures. These can range from helping Emma take photo for her newspaper article, or reviewing songs for Andrea’s next performance. Once they reach “true friend” status, these friends are able to build a Heartlake Celebration for them.
If that wasn’t enough, players are able to care for a variety of pets by training and grooming them for their entry in a pet show. Each one of these pets provide a special skill which can help you on your adventures, with the option to play as your own pets.
LEGO Friends is being developed by TT Games, in a partnership with Hellbent Games.
