Kojima to Debut Fox Engine
Having dominated the news headlines over recent weeks, the creator of Metal Gear Hideo Kojima has once again made the news. In an interview with the PlayStation Blog Kojima announced details regarding the Metal Gear 25th Anniversary Event, ““although the Fox Engine is not finished we are ready to show what it can do… on August 30th in Japan to be more specific.”

Most popular man in gaming at the moment
Kojima previously stated any game using the Fox Engine “May take awhile” to complete. The engine is still not complete, but Kojima stated “nearly finished, but the only way to be sure it works is to create a game at the same time and improve the engine with our tools as we go along.”. The original debut title for the Fox Engine was meant to be Metal Gear Rising: Revengence, since Platinum Games is however now creating the game they will be using their own engine.
With many rumours coming forth over the past 2 weeks regarding Metal Gear Solid 5, including leaked photo that were eventually deemed fake by Kojima and then reporting there would be a surprise at the Metal Gear Event, anticipation has hit fever pitch. With Kojima all but confirming the title a month ago, by explaining what new mechanics would be included in the 5th game fans have their hopes high.
Could MGS5 be on the verge of announcement? Stay tuned for information as it comes.
