Killzone: Mercenary Announced for Vita
Killzone Vita has finally been officially announced today during Sony’s PlayStation Gamescom Conference. It was announced to be in development since release of the PlayStation Vita under the name Killzone: Vita (Obviously) and it will now officially be known as Killzone: Mercenary.
One of the great things about this announcement is the confirmation that Killzone developer Guerrilla Games will be developing the title, created specifically for the Vita handheld. Sony described the game at the event as “a first-person shooter not possible on any other platform.” During the live-action trailer (featured above) they showed off a new character named Justin Harkin and emphasized a Helghast helmet. Later on during the trailer they also showed the implementation of touch control mechanics.

Those eyes return
As stated earlier this title was announced with Vita launch, but no name, confirmation of developer or any kind of information has been released until now. This is one of the projects Guerrilla have been hard at work on lately, but still leaves two of the apparent three projects they are working on in the dark.
