‘Hohokum’ Release Date Announced
It has been announced indie title Hohokum will be releasing August 12 in North America and August 13 in Europe for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, developer Honeyslug has stated.
The announcement came from the PlayStation Blog, where Honeyslug’s co-founder Ricky Haggett revealed the release date. Hohokum is an indie adventure that focuses on discovery, allowing player to explore over 15 different environments in non-linear style. Players control a snake-like creature, who is able to transport characters in the world and interact with the environment as he traverses the skies.
“Much of what the game is today stems from the epiphany of how much fun it was to fly around as the player’s character (the Long Mover).” Haggett explained. “From there ideas came from various places: Dick’s artwork, toys that I programmed, and even real world places provided inspiration for things in Hohokum.
