‘Hitman’ Episode 3 – Marrakesh Release Date Announced
The third episodic installment of Hitman will launch on May 31 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Io-Interactive made the release date announcement, alongside revealing information regarding the assassination targets and new location, Marrakesh. The new location will include a maze of alleys, a range of souks, a shisha cafe and rooftop terraces.
One of Marrakesh’s main locations will be the Swedish Consulate, which will also house one of the two targets Agent 47 must eliminate in the mission known as ‘A Gilded Cage’. Players must eliminate Claus Strandberg who is based inside the Swedish Consulate, while also attempting to assassinate General Reza Zaydan, who is located in the heart of the city, protected by an elite squad of soldiers.
Alongside the latest Hitman installment’s narrative mission, players will have access to a range of new challenges, Elusive Targets, Escalation Contracts and an entirely new setting for Contracts mode.
Analog Addiction reviewed Hitman‘s debut episode in Paris, giving it a 7.0; while the second episode in Sapienza received a 7.4.
