‘Halo 5’ Taking to Sydney Skies on World’s Largest Aerial Video Screen
Xbox Australia has announced the world’s largest aerial video screen will be flying over Sydney, to showcase the first 10 minutes of Halo 5: Guardians.
The 20,000 square foot screen is the biggest aerial video screen in the world and will be taking flight approximately at 8pm on Monday October 26 (AEST), making its way from the northern suburbs of Sydney and heading south down the eastern beaches.
The Halo 5 gameplay will be visible from over three kilometres away, showcasing the first 10 minutes of the campaign. One lucky Halo fan will be the first (and most likely only) player to enjoy Halo 5: Guardians from a helicopter, over 2,000 feet above the iconic Bondi Beach before release.
“Halo 5: Guardians headlines the greatest games line-up in Xbox history, and we are incredibly excited to celebrate its launch with our fans in such a unique way,” said Jeremy Hinton, Business Group Lead for Interactive Entertainment at Microsoft in Australia. “Be sure to look to the skies this Monday evening to witness history being made.”
Halo 5: Guardians will launch worldwide on October 27 for Xbox One, and recently showcased the new Spartan Company feature. But if the wait is too long, you can also check out the latest cinematic opening, campaign gameplay and Halo 5 commercial.
