‘Halo 5: Guardians’ Goes Gold, New Infographic Released

343 Industries and Microsoft have officially announced Halo 5: Guardians has gone gold.


343 Industries Studio Head Josh Holmes made the announcement on Xbox Wire, alongside a personal statement on the achievement.

“This is the culmination of an incredible three-year journey for our team,” said Holmes. “Together we set out to accomplish an ambitious vision and deliver a Halo game built from the ground up for the Xbox One. Now as we near the release of the game on October 27, we couldn’t be more excited to share the results with you, the fans.”

For those unaware, going gold means the game is officially ready to be printed to discs, making the game complete and ready to release. Alongside the announcement a new infographic was also released, which gives a by-the-numbers view of the content inside Halo 5: Guardians at launch and beyond.
