‘Halo 5: Guardians’ – A Hero Falls TV Commercial, The End of Master Chief?

Microsoft has released a new Halo 5: Guardians commercial, and it teases a bleak future for Master Chief.

The new commercial is titled “A Hero Falls” and it debuted during NBC Sunday Night Live Football. The title of the commercial is ominous for good reason, as the TV spot showcases the military announcing to the world that the Master Chief is dead, falling in the line of duty.

Though the commercial provides a short and bleak future for Master Chief, one would assume that our beloved hero won’t fall during Halo 5: Guardians. But with the events of Halo 5 not surprisingly tight-lipped, there is no guarantee he will make it through his latest adventure.

Halo 5: Guardians launches worldwide October 27 on Xbox One, but you can also check out the latest cinematic opening, campaign gameplay and Halo-themed gaming headset.
