Guerrilla Games Reveals First Multiplayer DLC For Killzone Shadow Fall

Poria Torkan, Guerrilla Games’ Producer has unveiled the first downloadable multiplayer maps for Killzone Shadow Fall, these two maps will be free-of-charge and have been inspired by locations within the single-play campaign.

The two new maps are known as The Cruiser and The Hanger, with both maps will be fully compatible with Shadow Fall’s Custom Warzone features.

Firstly we have The Cruiser which has been described as “a close-to-mid-range combat map set in the confines of a decommissioned ISA cruiser.” Cruiser features tight corridors and interconnected compartments, with great success coming to the players that identify and control the choke points.

Lastly we have The Hanger which is “situated in the hangar bay of one of Helghan’s humongous mining spires.” Aside from the main area, there will be alternative routes that will need to be secured to take full advantage of the map.

Alongside these two maps, we were given more information regarding the first DLC expansion pack for Killzone Shadow Fall. Guerrilla Games is hard at work on the fresh content and they will have more information in the near future.

No release dates were given for the duo of free maps or the first expansion, but feel free to pass the time reading our full Killzone Shadow Fall review.
