‘Grand Theft Auto V’ Will Not Be Shown At E3

Take-Two has confirmed Rockstar and Grand Theft Auto V, will not be present at this years E3.This isn’t a big surprise since Rockstar is known for hosting its own events, rather than attending E3. Though Take-Two have revealed more GTA V details will be released throughout the summer.

“This year, our labels will not have a booth on the show floor,” Take-Two president Karl Slatoff stated in the company’s financial results revealed on Seeking Alpha.

“Both Rockstar Games and 2K have instead decided to focus their marketing and PR efforts on a series of events throughout the spring and summer. Our team, however, will be present at the show, and we look forward to seeing many of you there.”

2K Games recently confirmed they will not attend the show, with Valve also confirming their absence.

E3 starts June 11, with Konami today announcing a Pre-E3 Event where Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be in attendance.
