Gamescom 2014: PS4 Sales Now Exceed 10 Million
Sony has revealed that the PlayStation 4 has sold through 10 million consoles since it’s launch last year. The announcement was made during Sony’s Gamescom event by President and CEO of SCE Europe, Jim Ryan.
Impressively these numbers are “sold through” to the consumer, which means there are 10 million units within homes around the world, rather than simply available on store shelves.
The last time we heard of PlayStation 4 sales was in April, when it was revealed the PlayStation 4 has sold over 7 million consoles globally.
