Free ‘GRID 2’ Demolition Derby Mode Available Now

Codemasters has announced the free download of Demolition Derby mode for GRID 2 is now available on Xbox 360 and PC from Steam, while PlayStation 3 owners will receive the content next week.

Demolition Derby mode has been one of the most requested modes from the GRID community, bringing an updated mode from the original GRID release utilising the superior graphics and damage engine.

The free download offers the Jupiter Eagle Ray Mk 5 Derby car with a range of stock liveries that are able to be customised, the Detroit Demolition Derby Stadium where players can choose from two track configurations, featuring crossover jumps. The mode is available through single-player, split-screen and up to twelve player online races.

The update also increases the Level cap to 99, a new online playlist called ‘Hardcore’, increased in-game rewards for clean racing, and Mod Support for the PC version of GRID 2.
