‘Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’ – Free World Transfer, Halloween Event & M

Square Enix has today announced details of the unique Halloween-like event known as All Saints’ Wake and even more details on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.


Starting October 18 and ending November 1, All Saints’ Wake will take place decking the streets of Eorzea  in ceremonial lanterns and fancy costumes. Alongside the appearance of a travelling circus troupe that will appear overnight, who once spoken to will hand out a special Quest.

Square Enix also announced the free World Transfer Service starts tomorrow and will end Sunday October 31. This period of time will allow players to move their character to a new World, which is a perfect opportunity to join friends who may have been playing in another World.

Last month at Tokyo Game Show the latest Letter from the Producer showcased some of the new details regarding the next major content update for A Realm Reborn. Alongside The Wolves Den PvP Battles and Housing that was announced, are many new features and content that will be included.

Inside the new content update will be a new Primal Battle: Good King Moggle Mod XII, Extreme Mode Primal Battles, new Dungeons including Pharos Sirius, Treasure Hunting, Hard Mode Boss Battles, Beastmen Daily Quests and inclusion of The Crystal Tower. No title was given for the updated, but it was stated more information would be announced at a later time.

Final Fantasy XIV players will see a collaboration with Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII in November due to a special Lightning Fate that will offer Lightning and Final Fantasy XIII themed gear and weapons to successful players. The Fate will go live on November 14, with further collaborations scheduled in the future; including an 11th anniversary of Final Fantasy XI and the first anniversary of Dragon Quest X in Japan.
