‘Far Cry 4’ Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC Available Now
Ubisoft has announced the Escape from Durgesh Prison DLC for Far Cry 4 is available to download now for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC, while PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 owners can download tomorrow. Alongside a small walkthrough of the mission available below.
The Escape from Durgesh Prison content is a time trial based DLC, as Ajay and Hurk find themselves defenceless in Kyrat after being captured, tortured and stripped of their weapons in Yuma’s prison. Players are tasked by Pagan Min to complete a series of challenges and reach an extraction point to recover their lost weapons, and must update their gear before a final stand-off with Yuma’s forces.
Completing missions and tasks will give players extra time, which is allotted to their original 30 minutes. The faster the mission is completed, the higher score you will achieve and it will be added to the online leaderboards. The time trial can be played on your own or with a friend, but this content hasn’t been made easy with death requiring players to restart their mission; which may encourage you to bring a friend along.
The Escape from Durgesh Prison is available as part of the Far Cry 4 Season Pass, or can be purchased separately by those who don’t own the Season Pass. Analog Addiction loved Far Cry 4 last year, and you can read our full impressions in the review here.
