Far Cry 3 Map Editor Trailer

Far Cry 3’s Level Design Director Mark Thompson takes us through the basics of the Far Cry 3 in-game Map Editor, in the latest trailer. The Map Editor will allow the player to edit the landscape with high terrain, trees, waterfalls and even caves as they see fit, adding to the variety of the environment they are creating.

Mark Thompson speaks of a very impressive amount of objects within the Map Editor itself, “You will be able to choose from up to 2,000 items from a variety of themes. Such as tribal, world war 2, mines, Chinese tombs and many more.” With such an extensive array of items for the player to create a unique experience, along with choosing the time of day and the weather, it will be almost impossible to see the same map twice.
