‘F1 2013’ Australian & New Zealand Release Date Announced

Codemasters today announced F1 2013 will release October 3 in Australia and New Zealand for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

In celebration of the release date announcement, Codemasters also released a new hot lap video using work-in-progress in-game footage featuring the Hungaroring circuit. The new video showcases Australian F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo, taking his Toro Rosso-Ferrari for a spin on the famous circuit, narrated by former F1 drive and Technical Consultant for F1 2013, Anthony Davidson.

F1 2013 will also feature a new gameplay mode called F1 Classics, which will allow Formula 1 fans the chance to race against legendary drivers on iconic circuits from the 1980s. All Classic content available throughout a range of other games modes including split-screen and online multiplayer.

Pre-ordering the F1 2013: Classic Edition will further enhance the Classic Mode, offering players the 1990s Content and Classic Track DLC packs with their purchase. These two DLC packs will be available as optional purchases for other players.
