‘Evolve’ – New Monster Gorgon Available Now

2K and Turtle Rock Studios have announced a new Monster is now available for the online multiplayer shooter, Evolve.

The new Monster is called Gorgon, known for being a sly and hideous killer that enjoys watching their prey struggle. Gorgon has only a small amount of both health and armour, but has a selection of ranged attacks that deliver damage over time. Gorgon travels through the map using her Web Sling ability, allowing her to quickly transition across the map and stick to walls.

Gorgon also has a range of other techniques to help her in her battle against her pursuing Hunters, which include the ability to spray acid, slow down targets with her webs, web-based traps, and the ability to create a glowing husk that can be controlled remotely and detonate on command. Gorgon will be available for individual purchase, or included in the Hunting Season 2 content pass.

Analog Addiction reviewed Evolve earlier this year stating, “Evolve isn’t a ground-breaking experience, and it won’t revolutionise multiplayer gaming, but there are memorable moments to be had, even if those moments don’t occur as frequently as I’d like.”
