‘Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture’ Game Length, Physical Release Possibilities
Developer The Chinese Room has provided information on how long it will take to complete Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, including a statement on whether or not the game will see a physical release.
@s0phiesw0rld @andrewcrawshaw Depends a lot on how much you explore. Probably 4-6 hours. Lots of insides to explore 🙂 — The Chinese Room (@ChineseRoom) August 8, 2015
The Chinese Room replied to a few fan queries over the weekend regarding the upcoming release of Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, one of which asked how long an average playthrough will take. The Chinese Room clarified that the average playthrough will mostly like be 4 – 6 hours, but those who tend to explore will take longer.
Another fan wondered if Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture will ever see a physical release. It seems more than likely Everybody’s Gone to Rapture won’t be coming to a retailer near you in physical form, unless the digital release sells “a large number of copies”.
@MarcoMZiang @SonySantaMonica Not unless it sells a very large number of copies 😉 — The Chinese Room (@ChineseRoom) August 8, 2015
