‘Everybody’s Gone to Rapture’ Launch Trailer Released
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture launches on PlayStation 4 next week, and to celebrate the upcoming release developer The Chinese Room has released the official launch trailer.
The new trailer gives the slightest of hints towards the plot of Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, with two characters discussing the apparent rapture and its cause. The female voice is Dr. Katherine Collins, an astrophysicist that The Chinese Room has stated is “at the heart” of the mystery of Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture.
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture takes place in the small British village of Yaughton Valley. In Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture the player starts their journey after the supposed rapture and must discover the mysteries behind the events, while following the stories of the towns inhabitants along the way.
Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture will launch August 11, exclusively for PlayStation 4. Those who purchase the game within the first two weeks of launch will receive a free Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture dynamic theme for their PlayStation 4.
