‘Ethan: Meteor Hunter’ Coming Soon to Steam & PlayStation 3

Sony has announced Ethan: Meteor Hunter will be releasing on PlayStation 3 in late summer 2013.

The title is being developed by Seaven Studio, a new indie studio based in Lille, north of France. The team consists of seven former Hydravision employees (Alone in the Dark, Obscure 1 & 2) which closed in September last year.

Players take control of Ethan, a mouse who was hit by meteor fragments that have given him the ability to stop time and interact with objects in his vicinity. The 2.5D puzzle-platformer contains a physics system which players must use to navigate fast paced levels.

Seaven Studios is aiming for 50 levels, spanned across three different worlds. Ethan will traverse these levels by burning wooden blocks, using electrical changes to activate interrupters, and even air vents to hover off the ground. Levels will contain multiple challenges, and Ethan will gain new abilities as he progresses through each world.

Ethan: Metro Hunter will release on PlayStation 3 and PC later this summer. If Ethan seems like your kinda mouse, Seaven Studios is encouraging players to try the games alpha demo and provide feedback, which is available on their website.
