escapeVektor US Release Date Announced
escapeVektor is developed by Nnooo, a small Sydney based studio in Sydney. Nnooo is now happy to announce that escapeVektor will release on PlayStation Vita in the US, Canada and Mexico next week. The Vita release will cost $9.99, starting from January 22.
escapeVektor is a retro style arcade game, where an entity known as Vektor has found himself trapped inside your device. With your help, you will guide Vektor through numerous puzzles in order to allow his escape. These puzzles provide a unique challenge, giving players that retro nostalgia fix they have been looking for. With upgradable abilities, many challenging levels and some cool 8-bit visuals, escapeVektor is one of the best PlayStation Vita titles available.
Initially planned as a 4-chapter series after the critically acclaimed escapeVektor: Chapter 1. Nnooo decided to wrap every chapter into one portable version, giving players the complete edition with 150 levels spread across 27 different worlds. This version also includes the Wildcard system, allowing players to gamble to increase their scores for the worldwide leaderboards if they are confident enough.
“We released escapeVektor in Europe in December and it’s been receiving great reviews” said Nic Watt, Creative Director at Nnooo. “We’ve been working hard to get it released as soon as possible in the US.” PlayStation Plus subscribers will also be able to net a 20% discount for a limited time period. Nnooo have been very pleased with the reception towards escapeVektor thus far, “We have had some great feedback and reviews already for the game with several 9/10 and 10/10s”
