EB Games Expo Will Feature Family Fun Day
The EB Games Expo 2013 will feature a Sunday Family Fun Day kicking off at 10am (door open at 9.40am), offering a perfect day family outing that will include a roaming magician, balloon artist, colouring-in activity water transfer tattoos, face painting and caricature artists; and much more.
Kicking off the day will be a Skylanders Swap Force event , with 2,500 free Skylanders toys to be given away during a live presentation. Villain KAOS as well as Master Eon will also appear, with families able to witness a battle between good and evil live on stage.
Nintendo will also have a strong presence at the Expo offering an abundance of playable titles, including the first chance to play the soon-to-be released Nintendo 2DS before it launches on October 12.
In the EB Arena at 1pm attendees will be able to enjoy a family friendly version of Good Game live, featuring Jimmy ‘Giggle Rees, Dave Callan, Andrew Hansen, Gus Ronald, James Cottee and Hex & Bajo.
The EB Expo will also present Australia’s first Video Game Parade at 3.30pm, which will include 22 floats, gaming characters and personalities roaming the showgrounds. The Parade will feature Storm Trooper from the 501st alongside a life-sized tank, the Just Dance crew, Cosplay winners, and the hosts from Good Game.
Big kids will also have an array of activities such as the Insertion Laser Skirmish which will be available throughout the Expo.
If you cannot make it to the Family Fun Sunday event, families are encouraged to attend other family friendly playable games such as Skylanders Swap Force, Disney Infinity, Just Dance 2014 and much more on Friday and Saturday night, with a free Fireworks displayed at 7pm.
General Admission, Multiplayer and Family Passes are still available at over 380 EB Games stores and Ticketek.
