E3 2016: Psychological Horror ‘Here They Lie’ Announced for PS VR & PS4

Tangentlemen and Santa Monica team up to deliver a PlayStation VR horror experience with Here They Lie.

Tangentlemen is a brand new development studio, featuring developers who have previously worked on franchises such as Tomb Raider, Call of Duty, and Medal of Honor. Together with the help of Sony’s External Development team at Santa Monica Studio, Tangentlemen has developed Here They Lie.

Here They Lie is a “dark psychological horror experience” developed for PlayStation VR and PlayStation 4. Little is known about the events that will take place in Here They Lie, but if the initial trailer is anything to go by – prepare to be terrified.

Tangentlemen has stated that players will continue to “go deeper down the rabbit hole and confront the meaning of your existence”, as they encounter a surreal world inhabited by malevolent creatures and unimaginable horrors. Though there is a definite focus on horror, Here They Lie will also focus on delivering a strong narrative experience as well.

Here They Lie will launch autumn 2016 for PlayStation VR and PlayStation 4. Another PlayStation VR experience was revealed today, in the form of a first person shooter called Farpoint.
