E3 2016: New Information on ‘Star Wars’ Game Development, ‘Star Wars Battlefront 2
EA has announced new information on a selection of Star Wars games that are being developed throughout EA’s catalogue of development teams.
Jade Raymond the founder of Motive Games took the stage during EA’s E3 press conference to announce Star Wars Battlefront 2 for 2017. Raymond also reminded fans that the development teams at Respawn Entertainment and Visceral are both working on games in the Star Wars franchise.
Visceral is working with critically acclaimed video game writer Amy Hennig to create a third person adventure. During a behind-the-scenes video released during the conference, EA offered a small visual glimpse at game, which seemed to showcase the well-known location of Tatooine.
Not much is known regarding the Respawn Entertainment developed Star Wars experience, but a behind-the-scenes videos showcased Respawn capturing Lightsaber battle motion-capture for the game.
