E3 2016: ‘FIFA 17’ Story Mode Announced, New Gameplay Trailer

EA has announced a new story-focused mode in FIFA 17, called The Journey.

FIFA 17 will allow players to create their own football journey, as players progress from a small-time player to a major star in the English Premier League. The new story-mode seems to be similar to NBA 2K‘s Career Mode, which brings together both a progressive gameplay experience and a story-based adventure.

FIFA 17 will also feature managers, utilising the Frostbite Engine to deliver impressive graphical representations of each football manager.

Alongside the new story-based mode, EA has also revealed a new gameplay-focused trailer showcasing Frostbite Engine gameplay.

EA will be overhauling the physical play, new chances to finish goals and more in order to provide the best FIFA gameplay the franchise has seen.

FIFA 17 will be available in North America on September 27 and worldwide on September 29 on PC (Origin), Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
