E3 2015: ‘Earthbound Beginnings’ Launching on Wii U Virtual Console
Nintendo has announced Earthbound Beginnings will be launching on the Wii U virtual console.
The announcement was made during the pre-show of the Nintendo World Championship, by the original series creator Shigesato Itoi. Earthbound Beginnings will be made available for purchase from 6 PM pacific time, though no price is available at this time.
Earthbound Beginnings is the first chapter of the classic Mother series, which was originally released on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Earthbound Beginnings will also feature full English localisation.
Earlier today Nintendo announced Ryu and Roy will release alongside Lucas, as the latest DLC playable characters for Super Smash Bros.
