E3 2015: ‘DOOM’ Release Window, SnapMap Revealed

Bethesda has revealed DOOM will feature a new multiplayer gameplay mode known as DOOM SnapMap, while also announcing DOOM will launch spring, 2016.

DOOM SnapMap will allow all players to create their own modes and alter multiplayer maps as they see fit. Players will be able to experience these created modes online.

During the brief glimpse shown during Bethesda’s E3 showcase a few examples were showcased, which included a wave based multiplayer mode, 4v4 team deathmatch and the ability to maneuver pieces of the environment.

DOOM will release spring, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Bethesda also showcased new single footage available here.
