E3 2015: DayZ Creator Talks About New Game ‘Ion’
CEO of Rocketwerkz Dean Hall has revealed more information on its recently revealed game Ion.
Ion will use a Diablo-style camera and is inspired by Space Station 13. Though the camera is using a Diablo-style camera Ion won’t be fully isometric in design and it will still be in 3D.
Hall stated that he want to develop a “polished core” experience before showcasing much footage from Ion, which is why the teaser showcased during Microsoft’s E3 press conference was absent of gameplay footage.
Ion is an MMO where players build, live and die in huge floating structures in space. Ion will be coming to Xbox One and PC, no release date has been revealed at this time, but the trailer hinted that it is “coming soon”. Ion will also be apart of the Xbox One Preview Program.
