E3 2015: Bioware Reveals New ‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ Details
Bioware has released a new blog entry focusing on the recently announced Mass Effect: Andromeda.
Bioware has been planning and designing Mass Effect: Andromeda since early 2013, wanting to build a solid foundation for the best parts of the Mass Effect series, which include exciting new worlds to discover, great characters and intense action.
Mass Effect: Andromeda takes place far away from and long after the original trilogy. As with the original trilogy players will play as a human male or female character. Bioware also stated that the character you saw in the reveal trailer, wasn’t the character you will play in Mass Effect: Andromeda, but wouldn’t detail what exactly that meant at this time.
As seen in the reveal trailer players will be able to pilot a new and improved Mako, alongside a new team of adventurers and possible love interests. Though the entire reveal trailer was in-engine footage from the Frostbite engine, Bioware are setting these visuals as its target for the final product.
Bioware ended its blog post stating more Mass Effect: Andromeda details will be shown near the end of the year. Mass Effect: Andromeda will launch holiday 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
