E3 2014 – Ubisoft Shows Cinematic Trailer for ‘The Division’

Ubisoft has revealed a new cinematic trailer for from their their upcoming online third-person shooter, The Division.

The cinematic showcased how the world of The Division effect New York City. Focusing on the viral outbreak and how it changed the world, the trailer slowly shows a household evolve from a happy everyday home, to the slow demise that ultimately ended in the residents paying the ultimate price.

Following the time-lapse footage we are introduced to the online multiplayer aspects of The Division, which ultimately led to the introduction of a faction that seemed focused on burning the infection away; in every sense of the word.

Developed by Ubisoft Massive, The Division will release Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The footage also follows new gameplay that was released during Microsoft’s E3 press conference.
