‘Dying Light’ Physical Release Delayed in Several Regions
Dying Light, the upcoming open world zombie title developed by Techland, will be receiving a slight delay of the physical release in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia.
The announcement was made on the Dying Light Facebook page, stating that the game will still be released digitally on the original scheduled release of January 27 worldwide, but the physical production has taken more time than expected.
“There will be a short delay in the release of physical copies of Dying Light in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia.” The announcement said. “The game will have a global digital release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC of January 27, 2015. As physical production has a longer lead time than digital there is some delay in the aforementioned territories. We will share information on the availability of physical copies as soon as it is confirmed.”
There is still no word on when Dying Light’s physical release will take place within these regions, but as it stands the game will still be available online.
