‘Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ Announced

Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is being called “the most expansive and comprehensive” Dragon Ball game ever developed, with critically acclaimed developer Dimps at the helm. Dimps has developed Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 to “fully utilise” the power of current generation consoles and PCs.

“As the franchise is celebrating its 30th Anniversary, Dragon Ball games are a fan-favorite within Bandai Namco Entertainment’s huge video game portfolio and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will surely build upon that illustrious legacy,” said Hervé Hoerdt, VP of Marketing & Digital at Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe.” With Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, we’re working closely with the team at Dimps to push this experience to new heights.”

Little is known about Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 aside from the announcement trailer (available above) that was released alongside the announcement. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 seems to once again focus on players creating their own character who is able to travel through the Dragon Ball universe timeline to keep history in-tact.

The original Dragon Ball Xenoverse launched in 2015 and Analog Addiction said, “Dragon Ball Xenoverse is a mixed bag, but as a Dragon Ball fan this is one of the best entries in the series to date.”

At this stage no release window has been announced for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, but Analog Addiction will keep you updated when we know more regarding a possible release period for the upcoming release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
