‘Deus Ex: The Fall’ Teased By ‘Human Revolution’ Developer

Eidos Montreal has teased Deus Ex: The Fall, through several Twitter posts.

The Deus Ex: Human Revolution developer posted from their official Twitter account, a very interesting question.

Are YOU ready for The Fall? — Deus Ex (@DeusEx) June 3, 2013

Hours after the original post, the Twitter account posted a Vine video using music from Human Revolution. Ushering the words, “Are we ready to begin?”

In March we reported Square Enix has registered many domains related to the name Deus Ex: The Fall. They even registered Deus Ex: Human Defiance, which later turned out to be a April Fool’s Day prank.

Eidos Montreal were not done however, as they also tweeted using the #DeusEx “Who is Ben Saxon?”.

Who is Ben Saxon? #DeusEx — Deus Ex (@DeusEx) June 3, 2013

Further investigating as to who exactly Ben Saxon is, led to the Deus Ex wikia. Ben Saxon is one of the main protagonists of the Deus Ex: Icarus Effect novel, written by James Swallow. Ben Saxon is a former member of the Special Air Service, who after being injured during his time working as a private military contractor for Belltower Associates Incorporated is asked to join an independent special operations team, known as The Tyrants.

Ben Saxon actually refers to Adam Jensen (main protagonist from Human Revolution) before his Tyrant team attacks Sariff Industries, the very same attack at the start of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Eidos Montreal is clearly not done with the Deus Ex franchise, even though they are currently working on the Thief reboot for next generation consoles.

With the Vine video teasing June 5, we may very well find out what Deus Ex: The Fall is about very soon. Are you excited for more Deus Ex?
