‘Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’ Revealed

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been confirmed as the next entry in the Deus Ex franchise.

After a day full of leaked screenshots (shown below) and information, Game Informer has announced Deus Ex: Mankind Divided as the cover of its May issue.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is set in 2029 and will take place two years after Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Adam Jensen returns and joins forces with a task force aimed at hunting down and capturing augmented terrorists. Following the events of Human Revolution, the world has become fearful of augmented individuals and there is a growing hatred towards those with these augmentations.

Adam Jensen will also have access to a new range of augmentations, which will help him navigate combat and social situations. As with Human Revolution, these upgrades will allow Jensen to solve problems with many options, providing the same freedom players experienced when tackling situations in Human Revolution.

Eidos Montreal will be developing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which is scheduled to release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Though no release window has been revealed at this time.
