‘Deus Ex: Human Defiance’ is Actually Movie Adaption

It seems like Square Enix has trademarked the name Deus Ex: Human Defiance, for an apparent movie adaption of the futuristic franchise.

Many websites (including ourselves) speculated that this might be another game in the Deus Ex series, after Human Revolution’s strong performance in the market. However Destructoid has reported this is not the case, after Twitter user Superannuation noticed the domain was registered clearly registered for film purposes.

Get comfortable Adam, we won’t be seeing you anytime soon.

The URL itself, This domain is registered to CBS Films, which indicates this is for the previously rumoured Deus Ex film adaption.

This is definitely sad news for Deus Ex fans, could we still possibly see another game in the future? Perhaps, but until then we will keep you informed on everything Deus Ex related over the coming months.
