Debut ‘Total War: Warhammer’ In-Engine Trailer Released
Creative Assembly has released the debut in-engine trailer for Total War: Warhammer, which is the first in a series of cinematic trailers that will introduce the Legendary Lords.
The Legendary Lords are renowned characters from the Warhammer Fantasy Battles world, which can be selected in-game to lead the charge of conquest. Each Legendary Lord has a unique range of weapons, armour, special abilities, and their own distinct narrative quest chain.
In the debut in-engine trailer we meet Emperor Karl Franz, who is a revered leader of the Empire. The trailer depicts Karl Franz rallying his army of men and imperial artillery against the Greenskins, in a famed Warhammer battle. The Battle of Black Fire Pass is one of the unique quests players will encounter when selecting Emperor Karl Franz as their Legendary Lord
Creative Assembly has also released a detailed summary on how they develop trailers, which can be viewed here. Last week a new trailer introducing the Demigryphs was released, which showcased the mythical beasts that will be featured in Total War: Warhammer.
