‘Dead Island: Riptide’ Claims Top UK Sales For Third Consecutive Week

Dead Island: Riptide claims number 1 spot on UK sales charts for a third consecutive week, despite dropping 55% in sales.

Riptide’s impressive sales equals Bioshock Infinite‘s three week reign in the top spot, and also eclipses the original Dead Island which could only hold the position for two consecutive weeks. Call of Duty: Black Ops II also saw an impressive spike in sales, possibly boosted by the announcement of Call of Duty: Ghosts less than a fortnight ago.

Tomb Raider holds strong in the third position after losing 17% in sales, while Injustice: Gods Among Us and FIFA 13 finish out the Top 5. The only new title to enter the Top 10 is The Walking Dead series from Telltale Games and Avanquest, debuting at number 9 on the charts.

Persona 4 Arena also showed strong sales debuting at number 11, just short of the Top 10 sales.
