‘Dark Souls III’ “The Fire Fades” Gameplay Trailer

FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Games have released a new gameplay trailer for Dark Souls III.

The latest gameplay trailer debuted during the Microsoft Gamescom press event earlier today, showcasing a brief glimpse into the latest eerie installment in the Souls franchise.

The new trailer gives a very broad hint towards the latest entry’s story, with a female voice stating,“Yes, indeed. As they say on pilgrimage:The fire fades, and the lords go without thrones.” It’s hard to tell what this could mean for the narrative in Dark Souls III, but rest assured it will be one hell of a brutal journey to find out.

Dark Souls III is the first entry in the Souls series to only release on next generation consoles and PC. Dark Souls III is scheduled to release in “early 2016” for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. FromSoftware released Bloodborne earlier this year, which was a spiritual successor to Demon Souls, which Analog Addiction loved.
