‘Dark Souls II’ DLC Revealed – The Lost Crowns Trilogy
Bandai Namco Games Europe and FromSoftware have announced three new DLC chapters for their critically acclaimed, Dark Souls II. This three part DLC will be known as The Lost Crowns Trilogy, which will bring players to entirely original areas, to face unknown enemies, and new boss encounters.
The first part of this DLC release will be titled, Crown of the Sunken King, and will release July 22 for PC and Xbox 360, while PlayStation 3 owners will receive it July 23. Crown of the Old Iron King will follows on August 26 for PC and Xbox 360, and August 27 for PlayStation 3. While Crown of the Ivory King will end the trilogy on September 23 for PC and Xbox 360, and September 24 for PlayStation 3. Starting today players are able to purchase a Season Pass, which will contain the entire trilogy at a discounted price-point.
Crown of the Sunken King will send players on a journey to reclaim the crowns that Drangleic’s King Vendrink once owned. Sunken King will feature an entirely new world within the Dark Souls II universe, which will include a vast underground cavern spanned by pyramids.
Dark Souls II released earlier this year for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, providing an excellent experience for new players and veterans alike.
