‘Dark Souls 3’ Opening Cinematic – Welcome to Lothric
From Software has released the opening cinematic of Dark Souls 3, showcasing the intimidating land of Lothric.
With the release of the third installment in the Dark Souls series only a few months away, this newly released cinematic offers a glimpse at the dangers that will ultimately await players at launch. Players will venture North to the land of Lothric, which will house vicious towering enemies such as Yhorm the Giant, Aldrich Saint of the Deep, the Farron’s Undead Legion, and many more.
The newly released cinematic offers brief hints towards the story included within Dark Souls 3 (let the speculation begin!), but until we learn more about the land of Lothric, it’s hard to pinpoint concrete details on the upcoming narrative.
Fortunately the wait for Dark Souls 3 won’t be long, with the launch scheduled for April 12 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
