‘Danganronpa Another Episode’ Launching West in 2015
Bandai Namco Games Australia and NIS America have announced Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls will be launching on the PlayStation Vita in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and North America in 2015.
Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls takes place between the original Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and the follow-up, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. Unlike both previously released titles in the series players will take control of two heroines this time around, as well as featuring third person shooting sequences.
The two playable characters are Komaru Naegi and Toko Fukawa. Komaru is the little sister of Makoto Naegi, who was the hero of the first game, while Toko was one of the main characters in the original release.
After being imprisoned inside a mysterious apartment for over a year, Komaru Naegi is rescued by Byakuya Togami of the Future Foundation. Though the rescue is derailed after a sudden attack from hundreds of Monokumas. Komaru herself alone in Towa City, which has been taken over by a group of children calling themselves the Warriors of Hope. Their leader, Monaca, wants to exterminate all adult life in the city, which forces Toko Fukawa and Komaru Naegi to partner up in order to survive.
