‘Crysis 3’ Wins Red Dot Design Award
Crysis 3 has won the Red Dot Design Award as “Best of the Best” in the category Communication Design – Game Design – Visuals.
Crysis 3 released in February running on Crytek’s proprietary CryENGINE 3.
If you are unaware the Red Dot Design awards have been running since 1955, attracting thousands of entries globally. It comprises three main categories – Product Design, Design Concept and Communication Design. The awards are hosted annually celebrating creative minds from around the world, with the final dinners being chosen by an elite panel of design experts.
This is not the first victory for the Crysis series at the Red Dot Design awards, as the Nanosuit from the series was recognized for design excellence in 2010. Crysis 3 also recently won the Develop Award for best Visual Arts.
