Crysis 2 Comes to PlayStation Plus

One of my personal favourite games from 2011 will be making its way to Sony’s Game of the Month for PlayStation Plus subscribers from November 7. Sony Computer Entertainment Australia confirmed that Crysis 2 will be available to download for free, to those users who are subscribed to the Plus program. The open-world futuristic shooter won over fans and critics with its stunning visuals, varied gameplay and tough AI opposition.

Crysis 2 joins the list of masterpiece’s to have recently made the Game of the Month position, including Dead Space 2 and Red Dead Redemption. PlayStation Plus subscribers will also have the fast-paced 3D puzzler Cubixx HD available to download, for those looking for a completely different gameplay experience.

It was announced earlier this year that PlayStation Plus will be available for PlayStation Vita owners, this November. Sony has also recently updated their PlayStation Store design and we have a walk through of all the latest goodies. Not only that, but this is not the end of Crysis news, with Crysis 3 hitting stores early February this new offer is the best way to catch up before the third iteration is released.
