‘Company of Heroes 2’ Theater of War DLC Now Available
The first Theater of War single player and co-operative content update for Company of Heroes 2 is now available to download from Steam.
The Case Blue mini-pack is based on an actual German campaign of the same name, which took place on the Eastern Front in 1942. Players will be able to control the German army as they take on Soviet Russia. Case Blue contains two new solo challenges, two AI battles and a Co-Op scenario.
“Theater of War has become an overnight fan favorite and we are delighted to be able to add even more content with the Case Blue mini-pack.” said Producer of Company of Heroes 2, Greg Wilson.
Customers who pre-ordered the Collector’s Edition or Digital Collector’s Edition of Company of Heroes 2 will be able to download the Case Blue mini-pack for free from Steam. While it will also be made available for purchase for all other players.
Alongside the Case Blue mini-pack, Relic will also be released two new multiplayer maps as part of the same patch. These maps are detailed below.
Rostov: A large scale six player map based around a frozen river.
Kharkov: An industrial city scape which will encourage close-quarters fighting and strategic control of key choke points.
Both these maps will be added to the multiplayer roster and made available to all players, absolutely free.
