‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’ – Story Overview Trailer

Following the release of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Campaign Trailer last week, Activision and developer Treyarch have released a new Story Overview video, further explaining what players can expect from the campaign.

In the new Story Overview video, Treyarch Studio Head Mark Lamia and Lead Writer Craig Houston, explain how Treyarch have aimed to provide a “deeper” narrative than any other in the Call of Duty series. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will feature a futuristic storyline, where current day problems (climate change, wealth disparity) have taken effect on the world as we know it, providing a dark global future.

Players looking to further explore the futuristic world that Treyarch has created can investigate the new Personal Data Vault. This new codex will compile hundreds of articles from blogs, news outlets and more showcasing events that have occurred in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 narrative world.

Unfortunately, players on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will not be able to experience the new campaign, which will only be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions. But those wanting to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 don’t have to wait long, as it launches worldwide in one month on November 6.
