‘Bloodborne’ Load Times to be Improved in Upcoming Patch

One of the few complaints regarding Bloodborne from critics so far has been the long load times, but From Software and Sony are aware of the issue and are aiming to improve them and many other issues in an upcoming patch.

In a statement provided to IGN Sony announced the upcoming patch, while also outlining what improvements it will seek to implement.

“The development team is currently exploring another patch for Bloodborne, seeking ways to improve load time duration, in addition to other performance optimisations and miscellaneous bug fixes,” the statement read. There is no current release schedule for the upcoming patch, but Sony stated they will “provide more information as soon as possible.”

Bloodborne officially launched in some regions earlier today, with the rest of the world receiving the PlayStation 4 exclusive during the week.
